Supermarine Spitfire MkIa – P7308

Rolling off the Westland Aircraft Factory production line in Yeovil, P7308 was delivered to 12 Maintenance Unit and relagated to training duties and ended up with 7 Operational Training Unit. She suffered a number of landing accidents and was struck off from duties in 1945.

She was purcahsed by Group Captain Allen Henry Wheeler in 1946 and restored back to airwothy condition to star in the Battle of Britain movie. After this she was ownership changed many times before being acquired by Comanche Fighters.
