Canadian Vickers Conso/Catalina – G-PBYA

G-PBYA was a license built Consolidated OA-10A Catalina by Candian Vickers and known as the Conso. She was used during the war for Anti-Submarine patrols in the Pacific theatre. Post war, she took up Transport duties before being re-designated to 413 (PR) Squadron for photographic reconnaissance missions surveying the Arctic regions, Search and Rescue and Flood Relief supply flights. She has been based at Duxford since 2004 displaying across the UK and Europe ever since.
