Bristol Blenheim IF – L6739

L6739 is the only airworthy Blenheim varient still flying today. Built in 1942 as Canadian licensed built Bolingbroke, she entered service with the RCAF in 1943 and saw 3 years of Service. She made her way through the next years in storage before falling into the hands of the Aircraft Restoration Company at Duxford in 1988 and being restored as the long-nosed Blenheim IV, taking flight again on the airshow scene in 1993. 10 years ;ater she suffered an incident on landing and required restoration again. This time into the Short nose Mk IF configuration we see today. She’s a welcome joy across the UK Warbird scene and also starred in Christopher Nolans movie masterpiece Dunkirk.
