Curtiss P-40F Warhawk – G-CGZP

Powered by a Supercharged Merlin 500 engine, she is one of only two left airworthy in the world. Built by the Curtiss facility in Buffalo, New York she was shipped to the 13th Air Force in the South West Pacific on Christmas Eve 1942. She was recovered from Espiritu Santo in the 1970s after being dumped by the USAAF and stored and later restored in Wangaratta, Victoria, Australia. Finished in making her post restoration flight in 2011, she now resides at IWM Duxford.
