Republic P-47D Thunderbolt – G-THUN

Built in 1945 and serving with the Air Training Command during the end of the second world war, G-THUN would find herself sold of to the Peruvian Air Force and staying in service until 1967 as a front line fighter. From here, she entered ownership with a few different hands before having her first stay with The Fighter Collection at Duxford in January 1986 as ‘No Guts, No Glory’ before being sold and shipped to the US in 2007. She would make her return back to the UK in 2018 this time in the hands of Fighter Aviation Engineering Ltd.
